I bought one of these new in '62' and in 1982 decided to look for another one. There were only 1,500 made so it wasn't easy finding one. It was a mess and my wife asked if I was really going to give this guy $750.00 for it? I said yes and loaded it on the trailer. My brother did the body work needed and painted it. I just recently took the 318 engine out and put a 361cid Commando in it because that's what my original had in it. I drive the car all the time. I can still remember my car payment in '62', it was $103.61 a month! That was a lot of money in '62'.
